Founded in (insert year) Zahara Foundation spearheaded by Dr. Mohamed Fazul Jiffry is built on the tenets that humanity goes beyond faith & religion. The need to help disadvantaged communities is more prevelant than ever especially with Covid-19.
Our charitable organization has presence in over 8 countries. We aspire to serve the needs of all the communities, alleviate human sufferings, support every individual to become more self-reliant, focus on improving the morality of disadvantaged communities, provide good healthcare, economic prosperity and access to education to all races and communities in the country.
United Welfare Organization (UNWO)
United Welfare Organisation (UNWO) is a non-profit charitable organization which has presence in more than 12 districts of Tamil Nadu and works at at grass root levels. UNWO has a dedicated team of professionals, philanthropists, spiritual leaders and volunteers who dedicate their time, wealth and energy for the development of the society at large, aiming at nation building.
We strongly believe that every individual should be taken cared of by the entire society and that every individual should contribute back to the society to the best of his abilities. Our main aim is to spread and bring peach and harmony among all communities regardless of religions, believes and sects and to be prepared and immediately respond to natural disasters, flood victims, national calamities and help resettlements with a focus on nation building,

The prominent philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr. Mohamed Fazul Jiffry, the Chairman of Zahara Foundation plays a pivotal role in terms of rendering humanitarian assistance in South Asia, South Pacific & Africa and across various parts of the globe for the last two decades. His primary objectives are far beyond our thoughts, to build a ‘Poverty Free World’ by alleviating the very roots of acute poverty and untold hardship, consolidating people with different backgrounds by promoting co-existence and combatting pervasive racial discrimination in every nook and corner of this world. As a result, he has accumulated multiple accolades and enormous public trust for his multitudinous humanitarian services. In this sprint, our foundation the Companions of Humanity firmly believes that he is an asset to the entire mankind in this era of discrimination and disputes.

Learning lessons from Singapore
Mr. Mohamed Fazul Jiffry aspires to promote a multi-racial harmonious society like Singapore. Singapore is one of the most successful multi-racial societies in the world as people of different races live as one, harmoniously. Singapore’s main strength is its diversity, as it is home to a wide range of cultures. ethnicities and religions. It is amazing how there are so many communities that may have their own festivities, traditions, and practices, yet all racial groups still celebrate as one people. There is tolerance amongst the different racial groups despite their different faiths and religions. Hence making Singapore one of the most successful plural countries that are able to harmoniously bring all races together.
Singapore’s founding father has made “deliberate policies, carefully thought-out safeguards, and resolute efforts” to ensure that each of their citizens has access to equal opportunities and nobody would be left out or be in a disadvantaged stage. Through their multi-racial & harmonious society, Singapore has developed and embraced nation-building that shares and cares for one another as a policy.
